A loyal son, who defines loving based on the backdrop of his mother’s unconditional love. A balanced man, who used the tools and life experiences of manhood that was cultivated by two male pillars of his life – Great Uncle and Neighbor. The book – Journey Through the Thoughts of My Joy…. A poetic conversation, will give you a clear view of the lessons he learned in his childhood and challenges he embraced in manhood. It will take you on a fantastic voyage for grasping your own place in society, to embracing your uniqueness and most importantly, turning those upside-down obstacles into right side up moments. The book is filtered with poetry, prose and short stories that all becomes apart of his life’s journey.

Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, A. Jeffrey Wallace comes from humble beginnings that branched from his mother and extended support system, all of whom inspired in him a passion for life and poetry. From the age of 10 years old, poetry became his outlet of creative expression. His early twenties, is when he was given the encouragement to expand his passion into a staff writer position with the Central Pennsylvania newspaper. From there his accomplishments took him to Atlanta as an editorial assistant/writer for Upscale Magazine and freelance writer for other publications.

His book helps us appreciate why his lifestyle of seeking to understand instead of forcing the issue to be understood makes a place for us at the dinner table of better living and for a healthier outlook on life. Ultimately, his journey is your journey – and without mention – it’s unwritten moral code subjects you to look inside yourself, to examine your humanity, to identify the love and most importantly, to find what the foundation is for……perhaps it'll be Your Joy.
